I’m a therapist, a mother, a wife, a creative soul, and someone who believes deeply in the resilience of the human spirit.

I’m a proud boy mom, navigating the ever-changing world of parenthood—school systems, emotional growth, and the beautiful messiness of raising kids. I’m also a wife who values the quiet, meaningful connection that comes from growing alongside someone over time. Whether it’s hiking a new trail, getting lost in nature, or diving into a creative project, I love sharing these moments with my family. Creativity fuels me—whether I’m redecorating a room, painting an acrylic piece, or crafting something spontaneous with my kids.

Originally from Iowa, I was lucky enough to plant new roots in Texas nearly 20 years ago. The wide-open skies and sense of possibility here have become home.

Professionally, I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling with a concentration in Systems from St. Edward’s University, and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus in Sociology from the University of Northern Iowa. Over the years, I’ve worked across the spectrum of human services—from elder care and children’s services to clinical leadership roles supporting individuals with complex trauma, addiction, and mental health challenges.

Today, I maintain a private practice where I support adults through trauma, substance use disorders, life transitions, and whatever else life may bring. If you’re struggling, uncertain, or simply seeking clarity, there’s room for you here.

This work is more than my career—it’s a reflection of what I believe in most: that healing is possible, that no part of you is beyond love or understanding, and that there is always a way forward, even if you can’t yet see it.
